How We Review: What JILI17 Checks, and What It Cannot
This page is the standard you can hold us to. It lists what is examined whenever an operator is described on this site, draws the line between what an outsider can verify and what would be invention, and states how the site earns money. We publish no scores, because the detail a score removes is the detail that decides whether a site suits you. JILI17 is an independent guide and not a casino: no deposits, no games, 21+ only.
Seven criteria
- Licence disclosure — is the regulator named, is the licensed corporate entity named, and does it match the domain you would deposit into?
- Payment rails — is it clear whether a method runs over an e-wallet, InstaPay or PESONet?
- Terms clarity — can a newcomer find the wagering multiple, the expiry and the excluded games unaided?
- KYC rules — are the documents and the trigger point stated before you deposit?
- Complaint route — is there a path beyond live chat, and is the regulator's channel acknowledged?
- Responsible-gaming tools — do deposit limits, cool-off and self-exclusion exist as working controls?
- Support and app distribution — which channels exist, and is the install route honest about sitting outside the stores?
Every one is a question about disclosure, because disclosure is what can be read from outside. We are not auditors and we do not write as if we have seen inside a company.
Where each answer comes from
| Criterion | Source | What we treat as weak |
|---|---|---|
| Licence | Footer, terms, and the regulator's own published list | A badge image with no named entity |
| Payment rails | Cashier page and payment help articles | Logos with no limits or handling described |
| Terms | Full terms plus each promotion's own terms | Conditions buried inside prose |
| KYC | Verification help pages and the sign-up flow | Documents first mentioned at a blocked payout |
| Complaints | Terms, help centre, contact page | Live chat as the only acknowledged route |
| Responsible gaming | Account settings and the policy page | A policy with no working controls |
| Support and apps | Contact page and the in-account mobile page | Installers pushed through social channels |
Checkable from outside
That a claim is published and where; that two pages on the same site agree or do not; that a named licensed entity appears on the regulator's own published list; that bonus terms state a multiple, an expiry and exclusions; that responsible-gaming controls exist in the account area; and that advertised support channels respond.
We can also state facts that belong to the payment networks rather than to any brand: InstaPay moves in real time within a per-transaction cap set by the system, and PESONet settles in batches on banking days. Between them, those two sentences explain most surprises about withdrawal timing.
Beyond outside verification
How quickly a particular account is paid; what happens inside a risk review or a support queue; whether the promotion shown to you is the one shown to the next reader; and whether a game's outcomes track its published RTP across the sessions you personally play. We have no access to your account and no view of any operator's internal process.
Everything operator-specific is therefore described as set by the operator, with its own cashier page and terms as the only current source. That includes handling windows, minimums, fees, bonus amounts and VIP thresholds.
What never appears here
- Payout times, fees or minimums without a source
- A licence number not read on a regulator's own published list
- Ratings out of ten, stars, or a ranked 'best casino' table
- Invented reviewers, fabricated biographies, or 'we tested it' claims
- Installers, APK files or mirror links of any kind
- Any claim that a betting system or purchased tool beats a random result
Partner links, stated plainly
Some outbound links are partner links, so a commercial relationship may exist with the destination. That decides whether a link exists and nothing more: not a sentence, not the removal of a criticism, not a position in a list, and no operator sees a page before publication. We do not take payment to withdraw a correction either, which is the test that is actually hard to pass.
Dates, corrections, and the disclosure
Pages carry publication and modification dates and are revised when a published term changes, when a rail's public behaviour changes, when regulatory guidance moves, or when a reader shows us an error — in place and dated, not quietly swapped. Finally, the disclosure in full: JILI17 is an independent guide, not a casino. It accepts no deposits, holds no funds, runs no games and cannot act on any platform. It is written for adults aged 21 and over, and gambling is a cost of entertainment rather than a way to earn.
Frequently Asked Questions
Why no score out of ten?
Because it averages away the criterion you care about and implies a precision nobody has. We publish the criteria separately and let you weigh them.
Does a partner link change the writing?
No. It affects whether a link exists, never the wording, and no operator sees a page before it goes live.
Why do you refuse to publish payout times?
They are account-level and operator-set, so a number here would mislead a reader months later. The operator's cashier page is the only current source.
Do you test the operators?
We make no testing claims. One anonymous session says nothing about how your account will be treated, so we keep to what is published and checkable.
Why is there no named author?
Because inventing one is borrowing authority. Pages are published by the JILI17 editorial desk as an organisation.
How do I get an error fixed?
Use the contact route here, name the page and quote the sentence. With a source attached it is corrected quickly.
